It was also a successful weekend for five Titan swimmers who traveled to the University of Toronto to compete in Ontario Cup.
This was a qualifying meet that brought together top swimmers from across the province, not only at the university level, but at the national swim team level as well, many of whom competed in the 2008 Olympics. The Titan swimmers proved up to the challenge, achieving both personal best times and gaining experience in Long Course competition.
Titans achieving personal best times were Brittany Pask, Renee Gagnon and Dylan Jackson. Notable finishes were Steve Cholette, with a 10th place finish in the 50 Breast and Jayden Jackson, with an 8th place finish in the 200 Back.
The Titans have a big month ahead of them, beginning with the Dave Kensit A Champs, which will be held in Sault Ste Marie in February.
